When it comes to digital marketing strategies. There’s nothing more solid in my opinion than inbound marketing playing a major role in the growth of a business online.

By growth, I put an emphasis on sustainable growth. While yes, there are many business models that can scale at length through outbound when the ROI stars align. But this is rarely the case today.

Yes, a solid mix of inbound and outbound as part of any NEW venture needs to be considered and the reality is inbound can take some time to reap its many rewards.

So a weighted strategy dependent on which stage of the business lifecycle is very important.

This rings especially true if you are a startup or bizarrely just starting to dip your toes in the digital marketing landscape. Planning a go-to-market campaign should factor inbound as part of your core tactics.

Here are 5 Reasons Why Inbound Marketing Should Be a Priority for Any Digital Marketing Strategy

1. The result that lands the top position in Google search results has a 34% CTR and 19.3% of clicks for that search result.

2. Leads from search engines have a 14.6% close rate, while outbound leads have a 1.7% close rate.

3. SEO has ~20X more traffic opportunities than PPC on both mobile and desktop.

4. 70% of people would rather learn about a company through. articles rather than advertisements.

5. Companies with blogs produce an average of 67% more leads monthly than companies that don’t blog.
